American oak is light in colour with a medium to course texture. Its versatility is in the consistent colour, ensuring it can take an extensive range of colour stains, whilst allowing the distinct grain to be its feature. It holds a Janka rating of 6.0 and is available in widths from 85 – 230mm and thicknesses of 14 and 19mm.

There are various grades available, including Rustic, Standard and Select.
