Insertion Mouldings are generally fixed to a wall or door surface as a mitred configuration, creating a panel. In the traditional style doors and wall panels of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, the 32x12mm insertion mould was the most commonly used profile. This mould can be seen on our Four Panel Victorian Doors, as well as our Edwardian Three Panel Doors.
The insertion mouldings are also often used to hide joins or seams and can create a real decorative effect.
